MÓD Annual Summer Campout at Zigzag Mountain Farm
August 22-24, 2025

The MÓD Annual campout at Zigzag Mountain Farm is a long weekend of sessions, skill sharing, dancing, singing, hiking, eating, lazing about, and more! The site is about an hour from Portland, at the base of Mt. Hood. Cabins, yurts, tent & RV sites are available. This is a make-your-own music, make-your-own schedule event open to all players and appreciators of Irish music. Make your reservations now at Zigzag Mountain Farm on Mount Hood -- use the promo code IRISH to see spaces specially reserved for this campout.

Friday, August 22 (noon) through Sunday, August 24 (1 p.m.)

Zigzag Mountain Farm, 70803 East Mountain Drive, Rhododendron, OR, 97049, United States (map)

What to EXPECT:
- Informal, ad hoc Irish music sessions throughout the weekend!
- Some beginner/slow sessions
- Fabulous Potluck on Saturday, August 23 at 5 PM. Please sign up to contribute food and to help with setup & cleanup: Potluck Signup. (Signup just takes a few seconds.) We've had an amazing spread of food in past years - let's keep the trend going!  Sign up and specify what you are bringing so that we can avoid having 14 types of potato salad and 12 different types of bread...
- Coffee/tea station in the mornings for all to enjoy
- Great craic and making new friends!

What to BRING:
- Your own camping gear, food, etc...
- As we are trying to minimize our garbage footprint - all attendees are asked to bring to the potluck their own plate, cup and utensils.  We will not be supplying disposable plates, cups and utensils for all (we will have a few available for those who forget, but not enough for everyone).

This event is only possible through the many volunteers who help with planning and execution.  We appreciate your assistance and willingness to help!  See you at ZigZag!

Important note:

Given the many fires within our region, we will be monitoring air quality leading up to the camp out. If air quality deteriorates from ‘GOOD,’ we will notify everyone via email. If AQI surpasses 150, we will consider canceling the event. Regardless, we want folks who are susceptible to less than ideal air quality or who may have medical issues to be informed so they can best choose for themselves whether to participate or not.
